| For the first time in its six years history Intel Extreme Masters will move to South America. With Fenix from Peru and compLexity from Brasil being reigning American Champions in StarCraft II and Counter-Strike 1.6, South America has proven a distinctive and competetive eSports culture. The Campus Party Brasil will be the host of the Global Challenge Sao Paulo in early 2012. From 6th to 12th of February 16 of the world's best StarCraft II players will compete for $21,000 and two World Championship slots. |
$21,000 are up for the grabs at the StarCraft II tournament. 16 of the best players will play in the Championship bracket where the top 2 are headed to Kiev. Here is how you qualify for championship bracket -Top 4 players qualify at Qualifier #1 |
Qualifier Requirements
| -Your must be living in a country that is apart of North, South or Central America. -You must provide your own travel cost to the event. NESL or IEM will not provide stipends for travel to the IEM Kiev event! BUT each team attending the event is guaranteed $600. You cannot be from any of the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Guiana, Paraguay, Peru ,Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela |
