ESL Extreme Masters in America Announced!

It's your chance to qualify for the American Main Round of the fourth Intel Extreme Masters Season in Counter-Strike 1.6 with 500,000USD prize money! Just play in our Qualification Cups and reach a top three rank in one of the cups. Then you will join the Main Round. Get all details about all cups, restrictions and game settings in this news.

Who can take part in the Qualification Cups?

Everyone can play in the Qualification Cups! To take part in the Qualification Cups you just simply have to Sign your team up during the sign up period, and your team will be eligible to play the Qualifications! To successfully Sign Your team up you have to fulfill some of the restrictions like at least one contact information and enter Game Account. The full list of the restrictions can be found below.

The complete list of restrictions to join the Qualification Cups:

Place of residence in the USA or Canada
At least one form of contact (MSN or IRC e.g.) must be entered.
Accordance of team's country with players' countries
Date of registration
Entered game account (Steam ID)
Each player has to be 16 or older

What can I win in the Qualification Cups?

First of all: A lot of fun! Compete against the best American and Canadian teams and prove your skill. Furthermore you can win a exclusive slot for the North American CS 1.6 Main Round of the Intel Extreme Masters IV with 500,000USD prize money! The top three teams of each Qualifier receive a slot and qualify. Once qualified during a Qualification Cup you may not attend any of the subsequent Qualification Cups.
