The New Logo

The old logo of the Electronic Sports League has been with us now for almost 10 years. In the course of this time the ESL has grown larger and larger and has now the demands have outgrown the logo. Leagues and structures have grown, new portals such as ESL Sports have been created. With the new logo we can direct that complexity into a consistent and transparent structure. For this reason we have created this new logo.


Three coloured stripes represent the new logo and replace the old one. The new logo allows the structuring and combining of the various leagues and portals in a clear design. The logotype of the Electronic Sports League will remain almost unchanged and still emblazoned prominently in the new logo. Each portal of the ESL receives it's own colour code in three coloured stripes.

ESL Menu v2009

We are a league for computer games! Therefore, we give these games the attention they need: The main menu! From now on you have fast access to all games in the ESL - clearly arranged by genre. "New Games" shows quickly which brand new titles are available in the ESL.

So if you select a game and go to the respective game section, there's another surprise. The main menu fits to the respective game. We've got the flood of leagues and cups under control. Henceforth you can choose quickly and accurately between 1on1, 2on2 and team leagues. The drop-down menu is also subdivided in Premierships, Ladders and Cups. You will find your desired goal atraight-off.

The old navigation didn't disappear. The most important menu items are still available. You find them visually retreated at the head of each page. So you still have quick access to Play!, Gather, Forum or the Welcome area with all important news.

Bookmarks v2008

The bookmark system has been overhauled as well. After you clicked "edit bookmark" you'll see the new bookmark system. Besides the sharply simpler, more intuitive and desktop application like operation, there are also some useful new features.

You don't have to update manually bookmarkslike your accounts or leagues anymore. They act completely dynamic and adjust automatically. Even preformed entries are now completely adjustable.

My Games

Your favorite games are the reason why you visit the ESL. Therefore, this menu item get's the prominent place it deserves. You will always have access to your favorite games in the main menu, whether you are on the home page or deep in another game section. So you jump quickly from one of your favourite games to another. You can add or remove games via the new bookmark system.
