We promised that we would be supporting multiple gametypes and settings for our community cups. So here goes! We announce our first Search & Destroy Settings!

Rules - Search & Destroy

Wire Anticheat is mandatory in all games

Format:The team to score 13 rounds first wins the match. No Overtime!
Server Config: (Link) Download
Reporting a Match Result:
Once your match has been completed you will see your match listed in your 'Matches' tab, if logged in, in the lower right corner of the National ESL site. This tab will show all of your 'Open' matches. Your currently scheduled or completed match will show there. Click on the specific match to report. The 'Match Details' page will open and you will be able to report your match there.

Often times, the winning team will report the match as they want to be moved to the next round, but the losing team will hang their heads and log off the site. However, it is imperative that the losing team also confirm the match scores.

Matchmedia: At the end of the match, it is necessary to upload all final score screens.
Demo:Every user have to record a demo; in case of a dispute, it may be necessary to upload it.

UPDATE:

Because of the interest generated for this cup, signups have been expanded to 64 teams...if fewer than 64 teams check in, byes will be distributed for Round One and given to the top placing teams from the ESL Community Cup 1.

You use the guid that the remote console gives you, not the steamid or /steamid in the game. We are using the GUID because that's what the server's show. You'll want to login to your server via the remote console tool found in the Steam Tool's library. Then bring up the players tab.
Got it :)

Good luck, may the best team win.
What's the check-in time for this tournament? Our confirmation for check-in indicated this:

Check-in opens at:12/20/10 00:45 o'clock
Check-in closes at:12/20/10 01:40 o'clock
Cup begins at:12/20/10 02:00 o'clock

The cup starts in 2152 minutes.

I assume this is incorrect, since this would be 2:00AM on Monday morning. I just wanted to be sure there's nothing I need to do to correct this, and to confirm the actual check-in time. Thanks!
Check-in opens at 6:45p EST, closes at 7:40p est, and the cup begins at 8p est.
The times have been corrected on the cup page.
12/19/10 or 12/20/10?

Sorry, I fail and when fixing it, accidentally changed the date :D.
The cup starts on the 19th (sunday, tomorrow).
Really w/ the attachments? This will end up being the only SD tourny with shotguns/g11's/dual pistols and attachments. Coming from a team that scrims this game daily, I've only seen ONE team ask for ESL cfg. 45 ammo clips + wallbang spam = hilarity.

rukus, its a 'community test cup'. These settings are not set in stone. This is an opportunity for the community and for National ESL to tweak settings and such. Its a free event bro.. as we get close to our pay/to/play events.. these settings may be different.

Well correct me if im wrong but this is the 2nd snd tourney to take place in all of Black ops. With the 2nd config to ever be used. Theres going to be things people like and dislike but instead of taking out everything we decided to try and leave almost everything in.
RX Gaming trying to get in on this...see how it goes, looks like a good time waiting to happen!
Any chance the bracket sizes will get increased to 64 instead of 32 since there's 60 teams signed up already?

yes it will if we reach 64 or higher.
How do we discuss which server we're playing in?
The times and round 5 map have been updated for mondays matches.
