Setup
To install Aequitas simply un-zip the archive into a new folder on your computer.
First start of Aequitas
Please make sure you are logged in at the ESL website before launching Aequitas.
After starting Aequitas the following window occurs:

After reading the Terms of Use click on "retrieve my Aequitas password. Your browser then will open the following page:

Paste the password shown there into your Aequitas field and click "accept".
Usage of Aequitas
Important! In games, where Aequitas monitors your game configuration (e.g. Counter-Strike) make sure you cleaned up your config before launching Aequitas.
Using Aequitas for an ESL match is simple. Choose the game from the dropdown menu or copy & paste the match URL into the field above the dropdown.

After clicking on "Start monitoring" a new window showing Aequitas reading your system information pops up. This can take a while depending on your computer. If no window occurs please try to close and restart Aequitas or try to minimize or "Alt-TAB" your Windows. If nothing happens you need to close the process in your task manager and restart the program.

As soon as Aequitas finished reading your system information a new window pops up telling you Aequitas is ready for your game to be launched. Now click OK!

Now start your game and connect to the game server. Aequitas now runs in the background monitoring your game, taking screenshots and looking out for cheats.
After the Match
As soon as your match is finished close your game. Aequitas will detect your game was closed and the following window occurs and you need to click OK.

Aequitas now creates a ZIP archive. The following window confirms the creation of the file. Click OK again.

Now you can close Aequitas and upload the created file to your match.
Upload of Aequitas files
Important!:In all Aequitas supported games the players are obligated to upload the files generated by Aequitas to the match.
You can find your match using the "Open Matchsheet" button of Aequitas. To upload files please use the link "Upload match media", where you have the possibility to add the generated ZIP files via HTTP upload to the match.

In case you started Aequitas more than once for a match you need to upload all for this match generated files. Of course you can also upload screenshots and demos at the same time.
After the upload is finished the file is listed in the match details.

Checking Aequitas files
After downloading the files of your opponents you need to launch Aequitas.

It is important to use the correct match URL the file belongs to. You can only check the file using the correct match URL.

Now click on "Check File" and browse to the file you want to check.

The "ESL Aequitas Viewer" should now open. Here you can view the config, logfile and all screenshots. The status line on the top of the window shows the count of files and the status of the file currently open. The following status can be displayed:
- OK! (The file is not manipulated)
- Old File! (The file was not created by the latest version of Aequitas. This can happen when checking older ZIP files.)
- Manipulated! (The file has been changed and saved again.)
